Description

$100 deposit. This will be given back to you when you leave if everything goes well. (You show up on time to shifts, give appropriate leave notice, perform the expected duties and work assigned, do not damage hostel, staff or guest property, etc)

The Experience

Hello! We are looking for friendly and fun volunteers for housekeeping and reception shifts. If you're an international traveler temporarily in San Diego for 1-3 months and have a plan to continue your onward overseas travel, we would be very happy to meet you. If you are just staying for a month you will most likely be asked to do housekeeping duties. Longer stays may be trained on reception. Come help us!

I recently had the opportunity to volunteer for one month at this Hostel and I cannot express my gratitude enough for the enriching experience I had. First, the Hostel itself is very good, has an unique charm, positive vibe and is centrally located. The tasks were particularly in housekeeping but only the reception duties, as mentioned in the Worldpackers description, did not take place during my stay. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. A special thank you to the manager that were open to help. I left with gratitude, memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!

I volunteered for one month in this hostel and my experience was better than what I expected. Flexible schedule and cool people, I met so many travelers and made new friends. San Diego is truly one of the best cities in the US and you'll have a great experience here. Recommended!
