The Experience

Help on the farm varies by season. In the Spring we spend our time prepping the field, sowing seeds, growing transplants, cultivating those seeds in the field, weeding, and watering. As we move into summer and fall helpers will have the opportunity to harvest and sell the fruits and vegetables that have been growing the past few months at the local farmers’ markets.

One of my best experiences on this app for sure! Met people from all over and the sleeping arrangements were nice and cozy:). Highly recommend this to everyone. Had such a nice stay and felt very welcomed. They let you borrow their car which is such a big help with exploring around town. There's also super good thrifts not far away.

My time in the farm was A M A Z I N G ! The working hours where respected and didn't felt like work , I enjoyed every moment of it. The house is cozy and good vibes. I really felt welcomed! Shane and Randy showed us the area and always made sure that we were having a good time! Lots of hiking, cold plunge, trivia game ,dancing, bookstores, thrifting, movie nights and good conversations! I will never forget my experience. Lots of love and good energy!❤️🫶🏼

Being a part of the farm has been so fulfilling. I feel like this is the most balanced I've ever lived (getting plenty of sleep every night, really balanced meals, tons of outdoor time, chill time, cold plunges, saunas, hikes, etc). I can't thank Vern Randy and Shane enough. I'm really happy with the time of year I came- Mid August-End of Oct. I got to see summer and get lots of sun, all of fall and the gorgeous foliage all around us, and the beginnings of winter too! Harvesting and the markets are very fun. Also we get fed like ABSOLUTE royalty. Thank you thank you Vern Randy Shane❤️

This was my first worldpackers experience and it was everything I could've asked for! From the moment I got there everyone made me feel super comfortable and included. I was only able to stay for a few weeks but I wish I could have stayed longer. I made so many wonderful friendships and deep connections during my stay. The food was great, the farm is in a beautiful place, and we all went on so many fun adventures together! Thank you Vern, Randy, and Shane for everything and I will definitely be back next year :)
