The Experience

We live in a 400 year old home in a small village in the south west of England, with two dogs and a cat. We can host couples only to help us in our garden where we grow vegetables and many plants. In the house there are some renovation projects and general maintenance, plus dog walking. We have hosted volunteers for four years and love to learn about new cultures and food from around the world. We can help you improve your English.

I'm in love with this family. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. At all times, Su and Richard were concerned about making us comfortable. The experience is great, it was a pleasure to help renovate the house. I hope I can come back again one day. Thank you Su and Richard

Our experience with Sue and Richard was incredible. They are understanding, welcoming and friendly people. Our coexistence was completely harmonious and we had clear communication from the first day. We had a lovely time with the kitten Poppy. Our room was comfortable and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and plentiful. There, we work with painting, maintenance, cleaning, gardening and tree pruning. Oh, and besides that, we also had a great time walking around the area with the smart and adorable dogs Django and Barney.
