A fantastic experience and recommended for those who love to be surrounded by nature and away from big cities. The landscape is great and Killary Fjord is a very beautiful area. The team was fantastic, Heather and with the French team I felt at home. It is a great option to learn English and get to know the local culture. Also as a plus, there is a lot of French tourism (with which I usually have a lot of affinity), so it could also be recommended if you want to practice your French.

If you like hiking and nature, this is definitely the best place to spend a few weeks. The view of the hostel is amazing and has the most beautiful sunset that I have seen in my whole life. About work, simple and easy housekeeping tasks. Only on very busy days we reached the 5 hours of work, we usually end up before and have a lot of free time to explore the area. Fergal and Morena are such lovely people. Always helpful and willing to teach. Thank you so much for all!! I highly recommend the hostel!!

What a great experience I had in the hostel !! The managers are so nice and the staff team we had was so cool too, there is a very good atmosphere and the location with the lake and the Mountains just down to the hostel is just amazing. Fergal is a nice and funny person, you will have different tasks, the job is not hard to do and you don't feel any pressure. It's a peaceful place and you'll never be alone because of the other volunteers and the guests. Thanks Fergal, Morena and the staff team for making my time in the hostel amazing and unforgettable !
